Certified Phlebotomy Technician Course (CPT1)

 This program offers a comprehensive educational opportunity consisting of 48 hours of in-class learning and a 40-hour practical externship. Participants will be equipped to sit for the National Certification exam required to attain the California Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT1) title. Upon meeting all course requirements, participants will receive a certificate of achievement.

Criteria:

• The individual must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possession of a High School certificate, HiSET, or equivalent.
• Absence of any Felony record (Misdemeanors could lead to License application rejection - refer to CA Dept. of Public Health for further information).
• Completion of a Background check, drug test, and immunizations.
• Up-to-date CPR certification from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Professionals (available for acquisition during the course).
