The Medical Insurance Billing and Coding program is 4.5 months and aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of medical insurance, including billing, pre-authorization follow-up strategies, and processing insurance payments. Graduates will have practical experience using computers and will have completed an internship. They will be ready for entry-level positions in doctor’s offices, clinics, hospitals, and insurance companies related to the medical field. The program consists of eight course modules, with a 160-200 hours externship where students can apply their classroom knowledge in a real healthcare environment.
